KISW and The Crocodile Present:
THE BEATING HEART - A Benefit for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research and Life Center Northwest In Memory of Joel Eggert Sunlight Collective ft. Tony Coleman & Grace Love
$20.00
The Beating Heart Benefit and Remembrance is brought to you by the West Seattle Wrecking Crew motorcycle riders club. We come together annually to celebrate the life of our brother, Joel Patrick Eggert. We strive to bring honor to not only our fallen brother, but to all who have been affected by the loss. We do this through our continued support of our local art and music community, as well as our involvement with local charities.
Sunlight Light Collective was founded by longtime Heart drummer, Ben Smith and the late Shawn Smith and is composed of various iconic Seattle rock & roll musicians. This time around the group will feature Tony Coleman on drums and Grace Love on vocals. Tony Coleman began his career early with Otis Taylor, before partnering up with BB King for thirty years, with an 8-year break in the middle while he captained the drum chair for Bobby Blue Bland. We are very excited to feature special guest vocalist Grace Love, formerly of Grace Love and The True Loves. Filling out this all-star cast of Seattle musicians are founding band members, Jeff Rouse (Loaded & The Gemini Affair) on Bass and vocals, Ryan Waters (Roadcase Royale), on guitar and vocals and the great Kathy Moore (Kathy Moore Power Trio), on guitar and vocals.
For over thirty years, Hansen has been building a reputation as the foremost Hendrix tribute on Earth. As one of the few players officially recognized by the Hendrix family, he has been successfully doing his act since the '70s, stunning audiences worldwide as he channels the spirit of Jimi and perfectly recreates the stage presence and skill of the legendary axeman. Aside from his loyal fanbase, Hansen's guitar work is respected throughout the music business. He's played alongside some of the greats, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Miller, Paul Rodgers, Herbie Hancock, and original Jimi Hendrix Experience members Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell... Also original Band Of Gypsies members, Buddy Miles and Billy Cox.
