Almost three decades since the release of her first album, Adriana Calcanhotto has become one of Brazil’s leading figures for MPB. Singer-songwriter, author, illustrator, and lecturer at the University of Coimbra. Multifaceted Adriana is an artist of intellectual background who explores a diverse career, with a wide range of repertory while pushing musical boundaries. Gifted with a crystal clear voice and her particular songwriting, modernist Adriana links the ever-inspiring Tropicália movement with poetic love songs which largely widened her fan base leading into music for TV and film. Grammy awarded Adriana Calcanhotto is just about to record a new album, touring Europe in 2022.
