“How did we ever let this band fall through the cracks?“
Classic Rock Magazine
"If there are any better rock bands than this in Britain today, I’d like to hear them"
London Evening Standard
"DPW are blood and thunder poets of rock’s mercurial terrains. Their best songs are potent charges directed at ever present spiritual decay and confusion.
NME
"Filtering out all the least embarrassing features of West Coast-leaning sixties rock, Diesel Park West harmonise like the Byrds, string the couplets together like Lennon & McCartney"
The Independent
"Few groups since have shown such an orchestral attitude towards harmony vocals, and even fewer guitarists have bent their strings as imperiously as Rick Willson. Those who held them in high esteem were not wrong"
Q Magazine
"Just as diesel pollutes the air we breathe, so Diesel Park West seek to pollute the often sterile, self limiting world of rock and roll with dangerously high levels of imagination"
Revolutions
"With enormous, lighter-waving choruses, Roger McGuinn’s old Rickenbacker’s and a thriving disrespect for the music industry, (they've) done for the Midlands what Tom Petty used to do for the Midwest"
The Guardian
"Diesel Park West effortlessly recast the vibrant purity of Creedence, the sonic alchemy of the Byrds, the raw nerved melodic toughness of the Beatles and the cathartic thrust of the Stones"
