Influenced by African, Jamaican, electronic and rock music, the Guinean-Brazilian rapper translates his experiences in the ghettos of Sao Paulo into witty punchline verses, effortlessly merging his family heritage with the culture he engages with today.
Grabbing Brazil’s attention with singles like "Elegância" in the early 2000s, Rincon started to build his name through small gigs around the Brazilian hip-hop scene. Later releasing his debut album Galanga Livre in 2017, he went on to win multiple awards at the Prêmio Multishow for Outstanding Artist, Best Cover and Best Production.
