Naloxone is a life-saving drug that temporarily blocks and reverses the effects of an opiate overdose. Over 1755 Albertans died last year from unintentional drug poisonings, about 5 people every single day in Alberta! As part of Pride Reunited, Fruit Loop is coordinating free Naloxone training for the 2SLQBTQ+ community services providers and venues which host 2SLGBTQ-+ related events. The training will be offered by Streetworks and hosted by the Starlite Room or Grindstone.
Training will run 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
