Chris Dover is a singer/songwriter based in Bradford,UK. Formerly the frontman for Hoodoo Operators. His influences cover everything from Robert Johnson and Guy Clark, to current artists like Foy Vance. His live show is a very intimate window into his life be it love, depression or loss, that will resonate with any fan of classic storytelling.
His first releases as a solo musician, volume 1 and 2, were released in late 2020 on Bandcamp, and have garnered much support and praise. Chris opened for stellar American songwriter Willie Tea Taylor on a string of dates as the world reopened for touring in September 2021, and toured with Arkansas’ Gravedancer in summer 2022.
“It’s a Difficult World” marked Chris’ third release since 2020, pushing his distinct voice and perspective to new levels. His first full length record, Chris explores the human condition and his own experiences in an intimate yet universal way.
