After an alien invasion begins, retired legal secretary Cassie discovers a man wandering the bleak apocalyptic landscape and brings him to her bungalow for a cuppa, but the two clash when it turns out he’s a conspiracy theorist who does not believe that the aliens are real. 
 
Cassie and the Space Cowboy is a hilarious satirical comedy set during an alien invasion, exploring the extremities of a post-truth world.
