Covid-19 Restriction Policies for Castle Theatre
Policies Subject To Change - For Up To Date Info Visit The Castle Theatre Website
As of August 16th, 2021, The Castle Theatre has joined tens of thousands of national music venues, festivals, as well as theatre and dance companies across the country in requiring that attendees to ALL our indoor shows provide proof of either full vaccination — OR — a negative COVID-19 test performed within 72-hours prior to entry. Patrons will be asked to show their valid vaccination card or test result (photocopies or digital copies on your phone are permissible) alongside a government-issued ID (just to make sure it’s you) when they arrive at the door.
Some shows may have additional requirements as outlined by the artists, in which case all ticket holders will be notified either by email, or on our social media channels.
Type of “Negative” Testing AllowedAny type of test that can provide a legit negative result will be allowed. This includes pharmacy-purchased rapid tests. We are trying to be as flexible as we can, as these restrictions are quickly rolling our nation-wide.
Our Indoor Mask Policy
Illinois’ statewide indoor mask mandate went into effect on August 30, 2021. The mask mandate applies to gyms, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, health clubs and other indoor venues — which of course, includes The Castle Theatre. We will require that all guests wear a mask when moving about the theatre like ordering a drink at the bar. When at your seat or spot you may remove your mask.
These policies are subject to change. Should you have any additional questions about our Covid policies, please contact us at 309-820-0352. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
