Hood County Children’s Charity Fund is kickin’ off our 5th Annual “Pickin’ in the Pasture” concert on Saturday, June 8th at the iconic Warren’s Backyard. Texas County legend Kevin Fowler will headline the sounds coming from the Revolver Brewing Stage. General Admission tickets are now on sale for $45. Sponsorships are available and include VIP seating, advertising at the event, and other benefits.
Kevin Fowler was born in Amarillo, TX. His country music journey began as he found his footing as a solo act in the early 2000s in his home state of Texas, where he burst onto the scene with the celebrated album Beer Bait and Ammo. He has released 11 solo albums, had eighteen #1’s on Texas music charts and, most recently, launched a collaborative musical duo with Roger Creager called Dos Borrachos. The Duo has toured together supporting their eponymous album and hosts their wildly successful annual music festival in Mexico called Big Cabo Fest. Fowler is currently writing and recording new music for release later this year. For more information on Kevin Fowler and a list of upcoming tour dates, please visit: www.kevinfowler.com
Your support attending the concert has a lasting impact as Hood County students will return to school in August 2024. We provide clothing and shoes to children going back to school so they can enter the classroom feeling confident. Funds raised will also help restock clothing closets located on every Hood County school campus that students can utilize when an extreme need is identified during the school day by counselors and teachers. Last year, HCCCF clothed over 1,000 students heading into the school year at the cost of $65,000. We also provided over $20,000 to graduating seniors attending trade schools and who exhibit significant financial need.
