Nicole has been surrounded by and involved with different styles of music in different capacities, her entire life; but has only recently started sharing her own music as a creative form of self-expression. Her music is eclectic in sound and form, but mostly influenced by folk, blues and rock genres. She refers to her first collection of music as 'Blue Proverb', which explores themes of grief and defiance- not only in relation to death, but also in relation to the experiences of living.
